UC Lit Fall Elections

UC Lit Fall Elections

The University College Literary and Athletic Society (UC Lit) is holding elections for seats on its council. Since 1854, the UC Lit has been serving the students and community of University College. The Lit’s mandate is to provide services, host events, facilitate student involvement, represent the student body, as well as foster a sense of community among the students of the college. This is an excellent opportunity to make and foster friendships, get involved at UC, as well as make an impact over 4300 UC students.

The upcoming elections are for the positions of:
Three (3) First Year Residence Representatives (students currently living in a UC residence)
Three (3) First Year Off-Campus Representatives (students currently NOT living in a UC residence)
In addition, a By-Election is being held for the position of:
One (1) Upper Year Residence Representative (this student must not be a first year; and must have lived in a UC residence from March 15-April 2, 2009 OR is presently living in a UC residence)

Interested applicants should pick up a nomination form from the UC Lit office in the Junior Common Room or download it from here and have them submitted by 4pm on Wednesday, September 16, 2009.
