We understand our days start early and end late – so we have some options for everyone who wants to participate!
Residence Students
Move-in day for incoming first-year residence students is Sunday September 5th. If you move in between 9am and 5pm, we’ll have a host of upper year leaders there to greet you and to move all your heavy baggage to your rooms for you! We promise you won’t have to lift anything heavier than a pillow! Just drive up St. George, to your respective building, and we’ll do the rest!
Residence students also have the option, when registering, to billet an off-campus student. This means that an off-campus student of the same gender would be assigned to stay in your room. They would not have a key to your room, so they would only be able to get in with you. Billeting someone is like making an instant friend! Our billeting program has always been very successful – not only is it extremely safe, but often it’s how best friends are made!
Off-campus Students
We realize that our Orientation schedule is pretty packed – it starts early, and ends quite late. So, if you would like an option besides having to commute each day, we offer the billeting program. If you would like, we will pair you up with a residence student of the same gender, who you can stay with for the week. Billeting saves time, money, and helps spark long-lasting friendships. Just indicate on your registration form that this is something you’d be interested in. If you have a friend in residence, you may put their name, and we’ll try and match you up.
