1. Monday, January, 18th: Get Aware!
Where: FUNG, UC Front Entrance, and Junior Common Room(JCR).
Time: 12:00 -3:00 pm

Get information and free fair trade chocolate.

2. Tuesday, January 19th: Poker Tournament!
Where: Junior Common Room(JCR) at University College
When: 4:00 – 6:00 pm

It’s free to enter! Prizes to Win! Play Fair!

3. Wednesday, January 20th: Speaker Panel! Ask the experts.
Where: University College Union (Front entrance of 79 St. George St.)
Time: 4:00 – 5:00 pm

“No, seriously, what is FAIR TRADE?” – How does it reduce POVERTY?
Hear from the experts:

a) Professor Harriet Friedmann, ” one of the country’s foremost experts on the economy of food.”
Professor and Associate Chair of the Department of Sociology and Fellow of the Centre for International Studies at the University of Toronto.

b) Oxfam Canada at the University of Toronto
Oxfam Canada’s fundamental mandate is to secure basic HUMAN RIGHTS for everyone through building lasting solutions to global poverty and injustice.

c) Investing Integrity at the University of Toronto
Investing in Integrity is a University of Toronto advocacy group that is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of socially responsible investments and contributions in the University of Toronto and local community.

4. Thursday, January 21st: Fair Trade Coffee House
Where: University College Junior Common Room (JCR)
When: 9:00 pm

Win prizes, drink socially responsible coffee and listen to great music!

5. Friday, January 22: “Battle in Seattle”
Where: University College Commuter Student Centre (CSC) at 79 St. George St – back.
When: 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
