The UC University and Academic Affairs and Community Outreach Commissions have teamed up to bring you a pilot program for a UC tutoring program. The tutoring program will run for 7-8 weeks and be finished by mid March before exams start. The program is designed to assist at-risk students after school and to help them with their school work. Schedules are somewhat flexible; there are opportunities on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.
Frontier College, the organization which UC is collaborating with, has offered to write recommendation letters for all volunteers who choose to participate in this program. This is a great opportunity to help out in the community and make a difference in a child’s life!
