We will be hosting a stair climbing event in Morrison to raise money for the Toronto Special Olympics. Special Olympics is an international, not-for-profit organization that provides athletic training and competitions for people with mental disabilities, and is dedicated to promoting acceptance and inclusion – ideals we share here at UC!
There will be two races:
Race 1: 6 flights of stairs
Race 2: 12 flights of stairs
The people with the top two times for each race will win a prize!!! Prizes include GIFT CERTIFICATES to STARBUCKS, the UOFT BOOKSTORE and MILESTONES!
To register, please visit us outside of Fung (Howard Ferguson Dining Hall in Morrison Hall) on March 17th and 18th from 6 to 7pm, or show up on the day of no later than 3pm.
Cost: $2 + optional donations
